How to measure correctly:
Length: From the base of the neck to the hem.
Sleeve length: From the base of the neck to the end of the sleeve.
Chest: At the widest part of the chest.
Waist: At the narrowest part of the waist.
How to compare with an existing T-shirt:
Lay the T-shirt flat on a table. Measure from one side to the other at chest level while keeping the fabric slightly stretched. Double this measurement to get the chest width. Use the same method to measure the waist width. All other measurements are absolute and do not need to be doubled.
